Along with the cheese thread what do you like when you snack on cheese?

Apples and pears are my favorite things usually or some kind of hard salami. Depending on the cheese I sometimes have a few olives either green or black or something pickled. The wife likes cold chicken with hers or grapes either green or red.

Pepperoni slices go well with munster. I like pepper jelly with cream cheese and ritz crackers. I always like to have baby dill pickles around with cheese. Grapes of course. I like hard salami with some of the pepper jack cheeses or cheddar.

Mix horseradish with apple or pineapple jelly over cream cheese with crackers.

Im not really a horseradish fan. But I love jalepeno jelly. Have you tried that?
I have had several pepper jellies some hot and some not so hot. Some were red, some green and one was even yellow. I also love chutneys and I make a mean apple and onion chutney. The pepper jelly is quite good with lamb also.

The best pepper jellies are, of course, home-made ones. I have a couple of patients who bring some fine examples to me about once a year. I believe that they use jalepenos.

I love hard salami, green olives and whole grain or sesame seed crackers with my cheeses. A good beer (usually a pale ale or a summer wheat) also goes great!

The idea about the horseradish sounds GREAT! I'll have to give that a try.

Roll up 1 slice of Fajita-Seasoned Roast Beef with 1 slice of Jalapeno Jack Cheese. Cut diagonally across the rolls every 1/4 inch to make meat and cheese spirals. Spread a Water Cracker with a thin layer of refried beans and top with two of the spirals per cracker.

Good stuff!

Chevrie on Carr's Assorted Water Crackers with a drizzle of local honey makes me HAPPY. So does a nice Brie all by itself. Then there is a nice Arabic feta with Arabic oil cured black olives

I bought Chevrie, Gormandase with walnuts and sharp cheddar (the white kind ;)) yesterday. Also bought oil cured black olives. I looked at the price of the olives as my wife put them in the bag, looked at me and said What? We also picked up a hard salami called Saucisson Sec, better have a sharp knife or a band saw.
