What's been your favorite Alabama football victory and the hardest loss for you to take?

You get one game to joyfully watch over and over which would it be? And your stuck in hell and only one Alabama football loss plays on the tv which would it be?

You can't make me choose among:
- The improbable FG block in 1989 in Happy Valley. I remember where I was and how I reacted....I was 12.

- The Sugar Bowl vs Miami and Gino Toretta....and Teague running down Lamar Thomas, aka "The Strip"

- The 2008 Georgia Blackout game

- The 2009 Tebow cries game

- The 2015 National Title game is still amazing to watch

- The 2017 National Title game is too

- As is the 2018 SEC Championship game

- Winning a title in the Rose Bowl in my lifetime....vs Texas. Never imagined growing up I'd ever see Bama play in the Rose Bowl. Now I really can "remember the Rose Bowl"

- Two I attended that I love....
- The 1996 Iron Bowl. I was 19, everyone was standing up and I was close to the sideline, couldn't see squat on the field. Old man in front of me kept saying we were beat. I kept telling him we were gonna win. I had to wait for the stadium reaction before I knew.

- The 2008 opener vs Clemson. Something felt different that night and it played out for Saban's entire career....at least until NIL started anyway.

Losses:
- Sitting in the stadium watching Auburn beat us 17-7 in 2002. Fran knew he was leaving and left us unprepared.

- Sitting in the stadium watching UCF beat us 40-38 in 2000. Walking down the ramp listening to DuBose apologize and finding out McClintock had tackled someone at the end, laid on top of him and tried to start a street fight.

- Sitting in the SuperDome watching Utah beat us 31-17.

- Getting boat raced by Louisville in the Fiesta Bowl in 1990. Wow, I still remember that.

- That Arkansas game under Shula in 2003 when we missed what felt like 10 FG's.

- The Tennessee game when we couldn't stop a cold and the refs were so bad.

- The OU and Vandy games last year....when I just walked away from the TV.

I think I've gone on a tangent.....I'm not sorry one bit.

The two most difficult losses for me were probably 1989 vs AU and 1994 vs FLA

We were undefeated and Ranked in the Top 3 both times and those losses crushed NC hopes right at the end of those seasons.

I'm honestly not sure what my favorite win is though.

'93 vs Miami is probably the biggest upset

'09 Florida is a strong contender for best team we've beaten where we had to play almost perfectly to do it.

The actual 'Best' game due to it's back and forth nature is probably the 2015/16 game vs Clemson with the Drake KR TD

The 2nd Half and OT vs UGA in 2017/18 is exciting but the 1st half is a miserable watch though it ends with the GOAT walk-off play.

The only thing I can say for sure sure is that 2nd and 26 is probably the most exciting sporting moment I've ever experienced. The only other play like it for me is when the Braves walked off the Pirates in the 1992 NLCS with the Sid Bream play at the plate.

Favorite football victories were 1992 Miami and 2009 Florida.

Worst losses were to 1973 and 1975 Notre Dame. It cost us 2 National Championships.

Edit: In the 1973 Coaches Poll (UPI), Alabama was ranked #1 in the final poll, followed by Oklahoma at #2, Ohio State at #3, and Notre Dame at #4. The final poll was conducted before the bowl games. Alabama was undefeated at 11-0 at the time the poll was taken, but they lost to Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl. Notre Dame was ranked #1 in the AP Poll and was the consensus national champion for the 1973 season.

Worse loss for me was 2010 IB, which they refer to as the S"camback."

It's the game when MI's fumble bounced 20 years down the sideline and (instead of going out of bounds) it went through the EZ, which resulted in a turnover.

I've never been so disappointed in a loss; especially a loss to the Barn after the way we jumped all over them in the 1st half!

To this day, I have more dislike for sCam than any player I can ever think of. The way he celebrated after that game left a scar on me!

Best win is probably a tie with 1992 Miami, 2009 UT, and 2017 Tua walkoff to Smitty! If you stick a gun to my head it's 2017! That's like asking me which of my children I love the most.

Notre Dame 1973 Lot's of family gathered around black and white tv.... Nip and tuck all night... We had em backed up late... 3rd and long inside their own 10 and Clements found that back-up tight end who hadn't caught a pass all year for a first down. Dear Lord. You'd have thought we had a death in the family. I was 14. It mattered A LOT.

2018 National Championship is my favorite. The first championship game vs Clemson is also up there though.

Hardest loss will probably forever be the kick six. Although the semi final loss to Ohio State and the loss to Clemson in the National Championship are up there.

Side note: Would be cool if both us and Clemson return to the National Championship this year. Probably not the most likely thing in the world but both of us should be quite good this year.

The 2018 NCG featuring 2nd and 26 was my favorite win with the 1979 Sugar Bowl featuring the "Goal Line Stand" a close second.

The toughest loss was probably the 35-31 loss to Clemson in the 2017 NCG on the Renfro catch at the very end. Another tough loss was the 1983 game at Penn State when the officials stole the win from us after calling the Preston Gothard TD catch out of bounds. It would have been the greatest comeback in Alabama history.

Ok so the worst I have a tie. The 2010 and 2013 Iron Bowl cause we STILL never hear the end of it!

The best, in no particular order, the 2009 Tennessee game, 2018 national championship against Georgia, the 2018 SEC Championship Game when Hurts came in off the bench, 1993 Sugar Bowl, and finally the 1999 Florida game ( I still think that extra point at the end was no good)

Best win: 1992 against the convicts. It pleased me to no end to see Torretta on his arse with his head hung low in total humiliation. That and to see Lamar Thomas be ran down and embarrassed like he was.

Worst loss: 2010 IB in Bryant Denny. When Trent dropped that pass that him in the hands I knew in my gut that was the final nail the hammer missed. And to top it off our seats were right next to the barn section. That was not an enjoyable exit.

Honestly, there are so many big wins that it is hard for me to single a few out. As for losses, any to AU or Notre Dame but especially the blocked punts against AU and the bowl game losses to ND in the 70s. One other loss that still stings is the one to MSU in 1980. I was there in that end zone when we fumbled. Ouch!
