Question: What's the best way to set up a tv at a tailgate?

I know I'll probably get 10 different answers, but I'm a Bama fan living in South Carolina and will be tailgating at a lot of Gamecock games next year and want to be able to watch the Tide.

I was thinking Dish Network, but I have no idea how much the gear costs and whether or not they offer an SEC package.

I was also thinking about trying to run something off a large deep cycle battery rather than a generator.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

Try Radio Shack, I know they used to offer a portable package.
If you already have service at home or know someone who does, just take the reciever box and get yourself a dish off 'craigslist'.
Instead of trying a deep cycle battery, breakdown and buy one of the new honda generators, they are super quiet and wont drown out your TV.

No doubt the Honda generator is the way to go if you can afford it. Get a 1000EU, a nice LCD tv and direct tv service (my personal opinion is that directtv is easier to acquire a signal) & enjoy bama in So.Carolina!
I used the battery/inverter method one year but a few hundred bucks gets a nice quiet generator.
