started it's climb back to the top? Yes even the most ardent fan would have to say we've been near the bottom as far as football is concerned. So I am posing the question, rhetorically since we have probalby seen those who thought they were Bama fans fall off the wagon and been cast aside like blooms on a dandelion with the soft summer breeze. Soon the days of summer will give way to two a days and crowds will once again file into the hub of Alabama football to set into motion another season. Where will you be that day? Thinking about days of yester year Wallace Wade, Red Drew, Frank Thomas or Paul Bryant or will you be among those needed to help cheer on todays men of crimson and white, whose coaches have toiled under extreme hardships that none of those men of yester year ever dreamed of. I still support CMS and CMM as well as all the staff at the university as they have righted the ship and I know in my heart that the Tide will prevail.

I'll be right here with ya Dixiedawg, along with the rest of the Tide fans I see on this site every year around this time. Yes, we have really been through the ringer the past few years. But things are starting to look again. We've had stability in the coaching ranks who have been recruiting some awesome talent. The athletic facilities have been through a badly needed upgrade and look to be as impressive as anything in the country. I feel just as you do. We are on our way back. But we are going to need to have some more patience. Heck, look how long it took Oklahoma to get back on top...or even Southern Cal for that matter. We've been to hades and back but it wont take us long to get that edge back. RTR!!!

To quote Phil Collins,,, "I can feel it coming in the air tonight". Hey, that could be a pretty good song to play over the sound system prior to our first night game this year, maybe with some good clips showing on the Jumbotron.

Where will I be when the Tide returns??? I don't know that I'll make it to Tuscaloosa this year any or not, but I'll certainly be glued to the television catching every game courtesy of my ESPN Gameplan on DirecTV.

Well, if I'm not working, I'll be right there in BDS cheering on my beloved Tide. I agree that the storm has passed. We may still have some cleaning up to do, but things look brighter than they have for quite some time.

I believe!
