which games during the offseason

As January approaches, which game for the PC is a must have. I've seen several top 10 lists but I only trust you guys.. Any info would be greatly appreciated...

It all depends on what your pc will run and what kind of games you prefer. If it's top-end you may wanna look at "F.E.A.R", Battlefield 2, and COD2. I cant run any of those games but would love to try BF2.

It also depends on what kind of games you like. Throw some genres out there and I'll give you my 2 cents.

bamapride loves shooters though . I'd throw Half-Life 2 in there.

Yeah I like shooters. I also like playing RTS and have even started playing some RPG's. But for the pc FPS rules. On consoles I mostly play sports games.

I am willing to try any game at this point. Racing, rpg's, shooter anything that is on everyone's got to have list....

Well the games I have mentioned are all supposed to be good. A good single player rpg would be "The Elders Scrolls IV:Oblivion". I've played "ESIII" and its a very good rpg. Oblivion is supposed to be very good. "Age of Empires III" is a ok rts game. IMO its not as good as "AOEII" but then again not many are. I dont play many racing games so you're on your own with that. The shooter games I play are "Delta Force:LandWarrior", "Delta Force:Task Force Dagger" and "Delta Force:Black Hawk Down". ***WARNING*** if you start playing fps games online you WILL become addicted. I thought you may wanna know that before its too late. :biggrin:
