Poll: Which SEC team will win the East?

IF SC can get Shaw up and healthy, I think they can match Florida's defense and slow down Georgia's offense. If Shaw (or Lattimore) fail to answer the bell in either of these games though, all bets are off.

South Carolina's problem will be their passing defense. i could see them losing to Mizz, Tenn, Clemson, UGA, and LSU

I picked SC to win the East before the season started and guess I'll stick with it. UGA is looking good but like some of you have eluded to, CMR is always liable to lose or blow a game that he shouldn't. UF looks improved over last year (which isn't saying a lot) but think they're still a couple of steps behind SC and UGA.

Georgia. Florida is good, but they are young and not quite there yet. I think Georgia squeezes by Florida because of experience. Barely.

Driskell is some kind of athlete. Impressive that Florida has thoroughly dominated the second half of two tough road games. Georgia's biggest advantage is a two-game season. The scheduling advantage is staggering.

Florida, I agree, has got a real shot. Spurrior should win it but spends too much time on the golf course and will prob drop a game or two along the way. Georgia, forget about it. Richt always drops the big one. Will be the same this year. Georgia backed into the SECCG last year but prob won't happen this year.

I picked Georgia for the poll, but have serious doubts that GA can beat Florida in Jacksonville two years in a row.

I'd say the winner of that game represents the East. Since I'm forced to live in Georgia, I'd love for Bama to get ahold of the bullpuppies.

Georgia chokes as usual and don't think USCe has what it takes. Missouri could sneek in somehow but doubt it. Florida wins the East

That would be nice!!! I do think we'll play UF in SEC Chap game. UG will fold, and Vandy gave USC all they wanted in the opening game.
