There are 3 phases to the game, Offense, Defense and Special teams. Give the offense and F if you want but the other two in my opinion should rate in the A and B category bringing the average of the three to a C. In fact I see the offense as making a D grade instead of an F. If the offense had failed to score then they would receive an F.I wouldn't call the Miss St game a "C" game. I'd give that a "D" game. Remember we turned the ball over 4 times.
The offense scored fewer points than MSU allows, on average, with far more talent than the opponents who helped create that average. The offense also handed MSU the ball in scoring position several times in the game. One of those turnovers resulted in the only points that MSU scored. Honestly, I give the offense a ZERO. I can't see how anyone familiar with the MSU defense or the Alabama offense would award the offense anything higher. You can't award the offense points for scoring - only Troy and Alcorn State scored fewer points against MSU this season. There are 3 phases to the game, Offense, Defense and Special teams. A 65 to be exact by your calculations. How can any Bama fan give the offense a goose egg? Oh I see you are an "O"hi"O" State fan!The offense scored fewer points than MSU allows, on average, with far more talent than the opponents who helped create that average. The defense deserves a 100, or close - they really cannot be expected to play any better. Special teams deserves a solid A - say a 95. Some of the punt distances were a result of poor decisions by MSU, but still a great day.
Average the three and I come up with a D.
Also Nick Saban has never stayed anywhere more than 5 years nor has he ever had back to back 10 win seasons...ohh wait. Here's a quote from facebook by an Auburn fan. Here's why Auburn will win.
Yet to listen to them they were just one play away from winning that game. (Not sure how that happens when you lose by 2 TD).What kills me so much is this team of destiny talk by a team that if LSU wanted to could have lost by 40. teams of "destiny" don't usually get handled the way they did.
Not to be argumentative, but actually we (Auburn) had a horrendous first quarter against LSU and then played pretty much even the rest of the way. What kills me so much is this team of destiny talk by a team that if LSU wanted to could have lost by 40. teams of "destiny" don't usually get handled the way they did.
The "LSU" y'all played that night wasn't the same "LSU" we played. A team either progresses or regresses as the year goes on. I take nothing from our victory against LSU. They always play us tough. But I think LSU peeked early in the season and has regressed ever since. Not to be argumentative, but actually we (Auburn) had a horrendous first quarter against LSU and then played pretty much even the rest of the way.
I know the facebook Auburn poster hamstring is fine because he knows how to stretch. Here's a quote from facebook by an Auburn fan. Here's why Auburn will win.

If we don't turn the ball over and keep pressure off of AJ I think we beat y'all. If not then we're in trouble.
I agree, the same can be said about A&M and JFB after we played them. He definitely regressed...mainly due to injury. The "LSU" y'all played that night wasn't the same "LSU" we played. That game was a mess, with turnovers and failed 4th down conversions all over the place. I remember it as a game in which Auburn took too many chances, and none of them worked out. Also, LSU broke some really big plays on you guys, leading to a few TDs.Not to be argumentative, but actually we (Auburn) had a horrendous first quarter against LSU and then played pretty much even the rest of the way.
Yep. I'm shocked he hasn't been more often as much as he runs and scrambles.I agree, the same can be said about A&M and JFB after we played them. He definitely regressed...mainly due to injury.
But I never quit wearing mine and I bet you didn't either, but theirs goes away until they have a big win or two then they act like they never quit wearing it.:BigA:Get a grip - I still wear my National Championship gear, 10 years later. I bet that Alabama fans were wearing 1992 Championship gear for more than a decade after that victory. 2010 was only 3 years ago - the win less than that.
Yeah, I am beginning to see that. A darned shame, if you ask me. If you love your team, you support them with pride, win or lose. But I never quit wearing mine and I bet you didn't either, but theirs goes away until they have a big win or two then they act like they never quit wearing it.:BigA:
