Question: Will you be fan of Hawaii football because Tua is from there?

  • Hi Guest, we are working on updating the site servers and software. We're also 'forcing' everyone to read and agree to our site privacy policy and terms of service. There are no significant changes to either of these but the terms page does clarify a few things that are mostly in the legalese. You can just click the checkbox for both and continue using the site as usual! We'll update you more on the site upgrades VERY soon! THANK YOU AS ALWAYS for supporting the site and being an active participant!

We’ve recruited great players from Tennessee, Louisiana, and even Lee County. Does that mean I should pull for teams local to those areas, too?

Big Jessie ..who was one fine NoseTackle for us is from Australia, but I still don't check events or weather or watch Rugby games in Australia. So......a big Negatory for me on Hawaii fandom. Don't wish bad things for Hawaii. They have it tough sometimes.

I kind of pulled for them due to living in makakilo , Makaha, and Eva Beach for 5 years . I remember waking at 5am and starting the grill, popped the first beer at about 7 getting ready for the 8:30am kickoff of most Bama games. Had a group of about 6 of us that got together for most games . Either on the beach or on the Lanai in Makakilo overlooking the leeward coast. It was natural to watch football most of the day and the then Rainbow Warriors would play in the afternoon. So yeah, became fans of Dick Tomey and the Hawaii program.

Would you cheer for the barn if he was from Lee County?
