Putting Rose in was fine, but several others were dragging and not getting anything done. I am not sure he is coach enough to get us through. At least we salvaged a point.

We were pressing them very hard from the 70th minute till about the 85th. Just didn't cash in.

To me it was obvious Rodman and Smith's touch left the pitch as they tired. Would have loved to see Lynn Williams added to the front 3.

Really lucky to come away from Portugal with a scoreless draw.

After three lackluster performances, it’s clear there’s a problem. We can debate why all day long — coaching? off-field distractions? conditioning? something else?…I don’t know.

Regardless, given three deficient games and for whatever reason, we’re just not that good.

They played really well this morning. They should have won but the Sweden keeper made several great saves. Losing on penalties sucks.

Got to say France looks awfully strong. Not sure who will beat them. USA never looked convincing throughout. England shadow of the team that won the Euros which is not surprising with 4 of that team out with injuries. James deservedly received a red card against Nigeria so she is out the next game against Columbia. FIFA may extend that to a 3 game suspension because of the severity of the offense and I could not disagree with them if they did. Sheer stupidity and frustration on James' part.

Australia has been hot, and they have the best player in the world working her way back from injury and into the lineup. They might factor in.
