Kind of a strange deal here. Some 'Bama people think we've got a real chance here, but objectively it just doesn't add up.
He took the official visit to UA, but his parents didn't come with him, and he was back on the phone with the Pitt WR coach the very night when he got home. None of that makes me think he will sign with UA.

probably not the best sign as dinocat is the name for Pitt's throwback helmet art and SP likely refers to Steve Pederson the Pitt AD who signed off on using dinocat for a game this year. Or, he's just cushioning the blow for Pitt fans when he commits to Tuscaloosa

Totally guessing: If he was ready to commit after visiting Bama, and then had a phone call with Pitt right after, my thought would be that he was ready to pull the trigger to the Tide but was then talked into waiting and taking another visit by the Pitt coach.
Seems like the young man is truly torn. Getting the parents down to Tuscaloosa would've been a plus. Is making another trip to Bama part of the plan?

Reading this makes you think he was about to announce for Alabama since it says the Pittsburgh coaches were scrambling to get him to visit again and were trying to ensure the visit would happen. Sounds like they were a little desperate. Could be wrong though.

One is that he does not live with his mother and has not really had her involved in his life until lately. I have also read that he may be staying with one of his coaches this season. Alot of concern about his mother now getting involved. This will all go with why either parent has traveled with him. They were not with him in the spring, this summer, or the OV to TTown.
I also heard alot of the coaches at his school are really putting the pressure on him to commit to Pitt. I do not like our chances if all the rumors out there are true.

Foster's CV team nearly lost in first round of Western PA playoffs (round of 16) but squeezed out a 17-16 win. Foster didn't play...was suspended for getting two personal fouls in last week's win. They have big rival Hopewell in the quarters next week (Dorsett and Shell's old school) which should be a formality with Foster playing.

True. Sounds like robert is in the category of not really having a strong family atmosphere. Sometimes these kids just want to get away from drama and bad influences and start over. Hopefully he saw some role models in Tuscaloosa that he respects and can grow with. Not sure what kind of character issues he might have. If he was suspended for 2 personal fouls, it may be due to some anger issues. Saban's "process" isn't a rehab. But if players buy in to the process, it will make them better players, men, fathers, husbands, etc.
