Pac 12 Biased much?

"Oregon has impressive wins versus Tennessee and Virginia"

"If we’re looking at resumes, Oregon’s win against Washington is every bit as impressive as Alabama’s win against Texas A&M."

"
The difference is that Oregon went into Seattle, one of the toughest places in the country to play, fought through some early adversity and came away with a lopsided victory."

If you needed a good laugh... you could just keep reading the article....

I read this article earlier and thought it's ridiculous. All that matters is being one of the top two at the end of the season. Do that and you are in the national championship game. Stupid article.

I like Yahoo very much. It's one of my favorite sports news sites. But, as much as I read there, I've never even heard of Graham Watson. The article was dumb as a box of hair.

I just sure hope that some sort if bias ends up in the committee. Doing what they think is fair rather than playing the best two teams. Basically the media selecting the "best" teams.

I used to feel the same way about yahoo, but, they've regressed to the point of being laughable with their sports sections as of late..

Yahoo is always looking for the big scandal to tear a team down for ratings, that is really the only relevance they have, investigative dirty work, which SI is now trying to emulate. I just hope we stay as far away from Yahoo as possible.

Based on what some of the commentators said today, when the 1st BCS ratings come out, Oregon will probably be #1.

What really matters is what happens after the BCSNCG!

I sure hope Graham Watson knows more about being a mom than she does about football.

And there’s no question Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota is the best player in the country.
Not even the best quarterback in the country.
The impressive and dominant win against a Washington team that many regard as one of the best in the country should speak for itself.
I wonder how many think Washington is one of the best teams in the country.

If yahoo wants to be considered a player in sports news, it should label these kinds of stories for what they are...groupie fan pages.

i saw this and asked everyone who would listen what they had heard in their lifetime of watching college football about that statement....

so far, they have all heard of "the big house, both death valleys, the swamp" but no one knew of the "seattle slaughterhouse." this is a freaking joke

I think we can get ready for it. With the BCS Rankings first coming out next Sunday, we will be bombarded with articles why the Pac 10 is better than or equal to the SEC. Oregon is superior to Alabama and will run us off the field. Urban Meyer has being from the SEC has our number and OSU will take us down. All designed to influence voters in the poles. We need to keep our Big boy pants on and weather the storm.

Watching this BAMA team coming together for it's historic three-peat effort, I'm somewhat intrigued by the idea that we have to look up at our competition for a few weeks. That may be the equivalent of putting a rabbit in front of a greyhound. BUT, even more intriguing would be watching the ducks pursue the race as the hare.
