I was chasing down a rumor about a potential player boycott should Jimbo Fisher be allowed to coach the game against Louisiana Monroe, but did not find anything to substantiate it.

What I did find, however, was multiple players who stated firmly that they can no longer trust Jimbo Fisher, and that if he comes back, they intend to transfer. They spoke on the condition of anonymity.

“If he’s back, I’m out.”

Amazing how fast you can go from penthouse to outhouse in football.

explains why they tanked after we spanked them...lots of prima donnas

Wait, what? Did I miss something and Jimbo left or got fired?

Re: You can't spell dysfunction without FSU - players revolt...

Fisher has danced with a few teams the last few years. Can't blame the players.

If I'm a TAMU fan, I'm getting a little leery of this. He kept his assistants a year too long, and now this from players?

Maybe he just needs a fresh start, but I wouldn't be too happy with all the baggage coming with him.

Re: You can't spell dysfunction without FSU - players revolt...

One big thing, if Jimbo leaves with all the openings who can they get at FSU? This is not the year to be coach shopping.

Lol, can't fit the fake tree in the truck, huh.

Re: You can't spell dysfunction without FSU - players revolt...

BTW, love the thread title.

Re: You can't spell dysfunction without FSU - players revolt...

Warchant is reporting that TAMU had to cancel the planes to pick him up this morning because people were waiting at the airport! The FSU - ULM game could be the best game to watch tomorrow in Tallahassee!

Considering TAMU's relative dysfunction under Sumlin and now this? Greatness. It's rumored that Sumlin may be in the running for the FSU job. Double greatness. Pure, and complete meltdowns at both institutions are forth coming if that happens. Throw Fulmer/Currie feud at UT...man, I just need some popcorn and sit back and let the good times roll.

CNS should be in FL and TX cleaning up recruits right now. (Oh wait, he was TX. ;) )

Wow.
If that photo is legit (not doctored and actually is a photo of Jimbo's house), I'd take that as an indicator.
Or maybe they got a new fake tree? That one looks like a mess.

That is from a reporter at the Tallahasse Democrat. Not sure if that's a "fake news" source or not? ;)
