I think our passing game next year will much more closely resemble the passing game of the first three games this year than the last nine. Of course this assumes we have a healthy Brodie and/or a backup capable of stepping in and getting the job done. My take is we have nothing to worry about in our receivers but should be worried about being able to get them the ball.

If next year's OL can give Brodie the protection needed, our wide receivers are really gonna open alot of eyes around the country ...I believe last year in the first 3 games we saw a brief glimpse of their talent and hopefully this year we will stay healthy to see what they are truly capable of....

The rough thing...

About our WRs last year was the major problem attached to freshmen and sophomores: inconsistency. At times, KB/DJH/MC/TP/EK would pull off an amazing play. However, at other times, they would drop an easy pass or simply get turned around too easily on a route. The nice thing about that, though, is that as they get more seasoning, consistency comes easier. I, like a lot of you, believe this will be the greatest strength of our O in 2005.

The O-line must step

or the talent at WR will be totally wasted. The jury will be out until the Tide faces a team that has a significant pass rush. They will also have to prove versatile enough to open running lanes.

If you don't run you can't set up the pass. Lots of questions yet to be answered.

WRs...

...will be real good, and I really think the coaching on the OL will get us there.
