Possible Shake-up at ESPN Game Day!

ESPN GameDay to change hosts: Lee Corso and Chris Fowler are out.

Fowler and Corso could be taken off Game Day. Fine by me.

As for Fowler’s replacement, it will be the ESPN Baseball Tonight and Sports Center anchor Karl Ravich. No word on why Fowler is out or what his next move is.

At least Corso was a humorous caricature of himself.
They have to install a plexiglass window in front of Holtz to keep his spit from hitting the camera.

Holtz is a senile Golden Dome homer and desperately needs to be put out to pasture.

I like Corso and hate that he is out. He did not take himself seriously and brought humor to the show. Unfortunately, too many people took him more serious than he did and did not recognize that.

I totally agree. It may not be perfect but it is the best pregame show on Saturdays. If they let Fowler go, then they should replace him with Rece Davis.

I actually liked College Gameday the way it was. I don't need an overly-analytical countdown show. That's what bores me about the NFL pregame shows.

Say what you want about Corso, Fowler and Herbstreit, but those guys are better than the proposed. Granny Holtz as a primetime player? Thats just ridiculous. And Karl Ravich is a second fiddle guy too.

If the move put Reese in the head desk, and brought back Trev Alberts, I could see it. But Holtz I dont understand at all. I change the channel when ever his old wrinkly butt is on my TV.

I'd hate this, those guys have good chemistry (specifically Corso and Herbstreit) and that's not that easy to come by.

Fowler being out would mean little to me, but If this is true maybe they'll just replace Corso and give Howard a bigger role
