We are averaging 5 yards per carry, and Ingram is averaging 6.3. Only 11 rushes, and 2 are scrambles by GMac. :conf3:

We certainly have the stats on our side, it's just about converting on opportunities. Like NYBF said, we should be up 14-7.
You guys sure are more confident that I am. I don't feel that this game is going well at all. We need to run the ball, to counter the blitz, and make completions to open receivers. Letting LSU hang around is not a good idea.
We are putting too much on GMac. We need to run the ball more with Ingram. We get to the red zone and we pass, pass, pass. We lack some execution in the red zone but the play calling is not good either.
i am already looking ahead to next year...who will be our QB? anyone?

Ingram's gonna have to get more touches in the second half. Wildcat or whatever. I have faith in Greg, I just don't think this is the game to try and get his ship righted.

Agreed. It's a crap ton of pressure on his shoulders right now and I don't envy the position he's in. He just needs to rise to the challenge like you said. I'm putting my money on him to succeed and it's not just wishful thinking. I think we have the better team, we just need to execute better.
GMac is a Jay Barker type of QB. We need him to do just enough to win. We also need to run the ball in the redzone. If we pass another 3 times in the RZ this half, you're going to read about me on the news.

LSU is playing simple man to man . GM should be making the throws. He needs to go to his 2nd and 3rd level.
The passing game is there , we just need our QB to settle down and take full advantage of what LSU is giving to us.
LSU is do nothing more than TN the did to us the last 2 years . And GM was holding the clip board . He knows this , get it done GM and this game is our's .
This game will be won or lost by our offense, not our defense . This is where we as fans find out what kind of leadership is on this team .

We have made a few mistakes, but I have not seen terrible football being played by either team.
