I'll try to refrain from what I REALLY feel, but let's just say that Leach got hosed and the sissification of America continues..

This whole episode is very emberrassing and fortunately took the attention of off Urban Meyer.

Two things:
1) The players are going against Leach. That tells me what was shown in the video is not true, or the players didn't agree with it either.
2) His lawyer does not represent his client too well. He wears a camo jacket when taking a reporter around campus after inviting the reporter to come see where he claims James was located. Is he the best Lubbock as to offer? Also, he was not very well prepared yesterday when interviewed on Outside the Lines.

What are you talking about? I've seen nothing about players going against Leach. As a matter of fact all I've seen are former players coming out in support of Leach. Link me something about players going against him.

And off the attention Tennessee's Hostess Cupcakes. ;)

Pete Carroll would like to thank TT for this break in attention to the ongoing Reggie Bush case. :)

I'm just waiting on the photoshopped picture from LSUfreek showing the James kid sitting in the closet with his sunglasses on...

I'm thinking this will never get to court. Texas Tech will eventually write Leech a check to just go away.

Clearly from what I've read the players didn't have his back, so Leech was living on borrowed time, but Tech is going to have to show that James was in some way harmed or could have been harmed by Leeches actions and I'm not really seeing that from anyone.

I'm sure Texas Tech freshman frat boys have it worse.

???I haven't heard this at all...quite the opposite. The AD didn't like him though.

Current players have been instructed not to comment. Those have commented have been con Leach. Leach is definitely a quirky character and I'm sure not all his players liked him a lot. Apparently, no former players have criticized Leach and the staff call James a malingerer and his dad a helicopter dad. Sounds like a whinybutt with an influential dad has got Leach fired. Time will tell -- maybe

To the contrary, the players and coaches at TT (other than James) are in Leach's corner. You guys must have been reading something I haven't seen. There's been nothing but overwhelming support out of Lubbock for Leach. In fact, the James family and the TT administration are the only ones out to get him. It looks like the PTB at TT are using this minor incident as "cause" to get rid of Leach because of their already strained relationship with him.

Support for Leach / The "Real" Lady James Exposed

He had a high-wire act going anyway.

You don't PO your superiors, remain as you are, and expect to keep your job.

Below are two quotes from two players used on ESPN this afternoon that indicated that Leach was wrong in what he did to James.

"Some Texas Tech players believed the university's decision to dismiss Leach was appropriate".

"I have no complaints about this decision. [Leach] put Adam [James] in a shed like an animal. Like an animal in a cage. That was bull," defensive lineman Chris Perry. "You call other players. I think it was a good decision. We have our pep back now. We practice hard this week. We had less stress this week. You know why? Because he's gone."

Said cornerback Taylor Charbonnet: "The players make this team, not one coach. As Adam's friend, I didn't like it at all what [Leach] did. He was my brother and I didn't agree with it. I don't know why [Leach] did that. But I know we our fully behind [interim] coach Ruffin [McNeil]. We love him and support him."

It's been said, "If you strike the king, you must kill him."
If you play footsy with other schools too frequently and too openly, you'd better accept one of those offers. Leach, it would appear, was one offer too late.
