Will University have to change intro video?

The one with 57 bowls and 32 victories bc of the cotton bowl 2005 forfeit? I think it has to be taken off official record books, just do not know how that applies here? Hope not Roll Tide

The NCAA can't take way bowl trophies or BCS wins, because it's independent of the NCAA. They can only prevent a team from going to the post-season. This is how USC will keep the 2004 BCS title.
 
I think they should edit the video and have a shot of all of the fans giving the NCAA the number one. Let the fans decide which finger to use to express that number though.
 
NO... NO... NO... WE don't have to change a thing! The vacated wins SHOULD NOT apply to us. They should only be recorded in the NCAA's meaningless little record books. To we, THE FANS AND THE UNIVERSITY, it shouldn't because WE SHOULDN'T ALLOW IT!

Boycott the crooked NZAA!
 
There's another way to look at it. If the NZAA takes bowl wins from U$C, it breaks the tie for most all-time bowl wins. Which shows how absurd the whole "vacated wins" thing is...

I was there. We won. Nobody is going to convince me otherwise.
 
I just hope someone from the NCAA is monitoring Bama boards. Time to get out the Screw the NCAA tshirt . Its old but I saved it. Hopefully someone will come out with a new one for next season.

I recall Coach Bryant and several other coaches formed the CFL and signed a tv agreement with ABC. Thats one of the reasons you saw some of the great games in the 70's on TV. The NCAA and someone correct me if I am wrong , tired to sued to have the CFA College Football .... disbanded. They lost the battle in court. Bryant didnt like the NCAA but knew not to get on tv and go after them. When you watch one of the old games on ABC look for the CFA on the graphics.

I hope anyone that publishes a book on our stats at least puts the games we have won on the field in the stats even with a * to denote we won the game, but the Nazi's said it didnt count.

Either you win or loose, if you forfeit the game its a loss. Leave it up to the NCAA to come up with vacating the game. What about all the game and player stats. Do the stats count the rushing yards, tackles etc. If the game was never played then how can they count the game stats. Its not logical to not count the game but count the stats.

Its a F/U rule and the NCAA should be disbanded, or actually should have a independent group who reviews the repeals. Not the NCAA its self.

The video has to be changed to add last seasons wins and n/c but if i am the university the NCAA cant dictate what the video content is its freedom of speech. RTR

It will be interesting to see how big of a hit USC gets, I dont think the NCAA could weather the storm if they let USC off with a slap on the wrist.
 
What could the NCAA do to us if we refused to change things in our record books? I say we keep those 21 wins and the 8 they robbed us of in 1993. Bama has 821 wins on the field, and that's the number that should be on all of our official materials, websites, record books etc!!! Screw the NCAA.

Pretty much whatever they felt like doing on that particular day. If they feel they want to let UA stay with that video, they will, but if they call the school and force them to re-record it, they can do that, too.

Given that part of the punishment in this case is specifically make the school strike those wins from all records, my money is on the video getting re-done before September.
