Question: Bama/FL White-out

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

Nothing to worry about. It was a student and he got his feelings hurt pretty quickly because others wouldn't go along with his "dream". It's really pretty silly for him to think that most Bama fans would just stop wearing their game day attire because he thought a white-out would be cool.

Not just "no," but HECK NO.

How many times have we been over this, people?
NO!!

:iagree:

White outs, red outs, black outs, blue turf, hog noses, smoke machines etc. are gimmicks to get the crowd and in turn your players fired up. A team only needs a gimmick when they haven't done the things necessary to be prepared. A team that's prepared (i.e. "the process") has the best "gimmick" there is...winning

I don't understand the theory behind whiteouts and blackouts and such. Its not intimidating and apparently only motivates the visiting team...... If we're gonna get creative, do alternation sections of white and crimson in the stands like the Boise State potato fans do...

Alabama doesn't do white-outs.

We don't do crimson-outs.

We don't do black-outs.

We don't change to a different color jersey to gain motivation (never understood that one for anyone anyway).

We don't storm the field after big wins. We used to reserve that for national championships, but that got to be a bit de classe after a while, so we don't even storm for those any more.

We don't rent limos to tour high schools.

We lift weights and run 365 days a year.

Our coaches evaluate and recruit talent 366 days a year.

We line up, go jaw to jaw, and may the baddest, best-conditioned, most talented, meanest #*(^&(&% win.

Since 1/3/2008, the baddest, best-conditioned, most talented, meanest #*(^&(&%s have usually been us.

I noticed that. How do they co-ordinate something like that?

.....Oh and No the the white out thing.......

What?? Way too Busch League for the Capstone. Apparently we have done a poor job of educating our younger fans.

Nope.
