Former UA signee Alfy Hill leaves ECU and plans to enroll in a JUCO

I'm hearing former LB Alfy Hill, who enrolled at Bama, but then was told by the NCAA he wasn't qualified and went to ECU, is leaving ECU. Also hearing he is going to JUCO @ Arizona Western C.C. and plans on enrolling at Alabama when possible.

Anybody else heard this?

I like what I am hearing if what you are hearing is correct with regards to Alfy Hill. Cecil Hurt tweeted that he has left ECU and enrolled in JUCO with plan to return to Bama eventually.

Heard it's on Tider Insider, but I don't have membership. There's a thread about it on tigerdroppings where bama fans are saying this is the case.

My understanding is that money is still very much a concern. No matter where he goes, he has to pay his way. He does not come from money.

That's odd to think that no JUCOs out there would give him a scholarship. :conf2:

I hope that doesn't end up essentially derailing his career ...

Can't he just retake the classes that the NCAA said were not allowed at his high school then come back to Bama. I mean since it is the fault of the NCAA that he got into this predicament, they should work with him an not make him go to a JUCO. Also IMO, he should be able to just take those classes at a JUCO to get qualified.
