Link: Photos: Million Dollar Band performed at stop in Chattanooga en route to game

The Million Dollar Band stops here in Chattanooga every year the Tide plays in Knoxville. It's always a fun time at the First Tennessee Pavilion. Unfortunately we have to put up with the UT Band every year UT plays us at the Capstone.

CHATTBRIT, some VolChat posters were P-eaud 'bout our band's performance in their state. Bless their hearts!

Bet it helps Crimson Tide recruiting in the entire North Georgia & Southeast Tennessee region, in addition to Northeast Alabama. Gotta love it!

Oh! This morning when I first looked for this thread, I didn't find it. So, I thought it had been moved due to "football relationship". With a "search" I found it. Reckon, since the band goes to games and plays 'Rammer Jammer," that's "football" enough.

Let me tell you...there are a LOT of Bama fans in the Chattanooga area.

I went there three years ago, and was amazed at how much Bama gear/stuff they had at their mall. They said they make a lot of sales on their Bama gear.
 
There are tons of Bama fans here in the Chattanooga area. A ton of Tide Pride members and alumni. Your border counties across the Bama state line have always had strong Tide support. That is why talk radio and Tennessee season ticket holders and donors hate Bama fans in this area. All the Athletic stores and memorabilia stores carry all kinds of Bama Gear. Here in Kimball,TN which is 20 miles west of Chattanooga and only 10 miles from North Jackson High School in Stevenson, AL. the local Cracker Barrel had a bigger Bama display of merchandise than TN. Really had the local Vile fans in an uproar. Most of them would say things like, "did they move the State Line a couple of miles or what"? RTR

I just want to say as a fan who didn't attend UA that I hope the MDB, players, coaches, etc realize how much the little things like this mean to the fans!!

YES I DID! haha I wasn't wearing it at the pep rally, but it was tied around my wrist. :)

ART and others, I'm glad this thread has received so many positive replies. If I had not been slumming at VolChat, we may have missed it. :biggrin2:

Indeed, Chattanooga is important to The Crimson Tide.
