Haha, I'm guessing the photographer had the wrong lense to back up 15' and take a shot capturing the full statue. For all we know that's Kirby Smart's butt.

I don't think they did a very good job on the face. It may look better in person but right now that doesn't look very good. They did nail the butt though haha.

I didnt like the view on t.v. but after seeing these pics I like the detail. Especially the coaches polo.

I was in favor of him slamming his headset to the ground after Julio was slow leaving the field during the 2009 LSU game. Or him being doused with Gatorade after the BCSNCG. (or the drunk lady kissing him at the airport).

A Statue with Coach Saban & a Bama Player(yes AJ)..With Coach Saban slapping him hard on the backside would be the way to go..That moment sums up the fire in Coach Saban that has made him the best HC in this generation..JMO

I guess I'm sort of disappointed in it. I was more picturing it being him in his "practice" attire, the signature straw hat with that vest thing he wears.

I think they took to long to prodruce a statue that makes SABAN look like a wrinkled up old demon. I think they could have done a much better job on that statue. unless I am completely wrong that statue will not look good anywhere with the statues.B ut love SABAN and ROLL TIDE ROLL

I contend that this statue looks like "Mr. Green Jeans" from "Captain Kangaroo".
