Maybe, maybe not. I wouldn't be surprised to see guys like Cameron Jordan, Ponder, Kerrigan, and Jimmy Smith bust.... not that I don't kind of like a couple of them being picked where they were.

Also, teams need to take off their over-analysis glasses and re-check Bowers. He's a top 10 talent with top 10 production, unless Locker is the new standard for top 10 production.:rolleyes:

This is the worst pick I can ever remember. The guy is average at best and that's really being too kind.

it has just started. The big story has been Bowers and that knee. Most agree that he'll need surgery within 3-4 years, and for the surgery he'll need it's a minimum 8 month rehab. Tough break for the guy.

It really is. Not only is he a great player, he's a great person.

I'll agree 100%. I'm a huge Saints fan, and i LOVE that we got Mark Ingram....but I can't believe the Saints picked Cameron Jordan over Bowers.

Mallett is awful in my opinion. I never understood the hype with him.

Houston could be putting together a pretty strong defense with DeMeco, Mario Williams, Kareem Jackson and now Bowers if his knee is fine.

Nevermind. ESPN.com showed Houston taking Bowers, but changed it to a guy from Arizona.

I don't want either of them, but if I had to take one it would be Ponder and it would be an easy decision for me. Locker completed less than 54% of his passes in his career at Washington playing against PAC 10 defenses. Good luck trying to throw the football in the NFL. You are right though...they are both bad picks.
