Julio looked like a man amongst boys. I posted last year that Julio would be a better pro receiver than a college receiver.

That was based on the fact that the pro's can't afford to double him because the other receivers are very capable as well.

The 5-9" 5'11" corners in the pro's are going to have major headaches trying to latch on to Julio because of his tremendous physical assets.

I think he'll be rookie of the year hands down.

Mark will help the Saints immensely but Payton's offense features many many different offensive weapons so he may have a totally great year but not have huge numbers.

Dareus has already shown that he'll be a major cog in Buffalo's defense for quite some time. Like Julio he'll receive the benefit of playing more one on one rather than being double or even triple teamed so he may indeed be better in the pro's as well.

I'm proud of all our guys. But how long has it been since two offensive players from Alabama somewhat stole the show in their first week in the pros?

Long long time. RTR!

As great as our other guys have looked...

I'm hoping GMAC will turn some heads tonight. I know he's not the most talented out of all of our guys that got drafted...but he's definitely one of the smartest.

You got it sip...'nuff said.

To answer the op's question, it won't take the good people of Atlanta long to learn the proper way to say "Jjjuuuuuuullliio!"

i'm disappointed that we have so many Bama homers when it comes to these type questions. As hard as it might seem, let's try and take off the crimson glasses for once and give credit where credit is due. Ryan Mallett had the most impressive debut among rookies, not Julio or Ingram.

Since more than a couple of you will probably argue this statement, let's do it this way....
Player A...12/19 164 yards, 1 TD
Player B...2 rec 43 yards, 1 rush 12 yards

there, now who would you vote for? yeah, i thought so...
