The Walking Dead is back...

I've just started watching season 1 on netflix the other day and I'm really enjoying it so far (and I don't normally like zomby stuff). I set it up to record on my DVR but will wait to watch until I'm done with season 1.

Question about the shows on netflix, are they unedited versions or are they the same that originaly aired on AMC? I was just surprised with how violent and bloddy the shows was. Now, I don't care about the violence, I was just not expecting that from a non HBO/Showtime TV show.

There's definitely not editing done on AMC, thanks to the looser restrictions you get on cable. I remember one scene that stood out for me in season 1 was when they had to hack up the zombie bodies to use as disguises.

My DVR will be getting a work out on Sundays now that this and Boardwalk Empire are back.

The meat suits? Yeah, that was gross.

I just got to question why would he not shoot Otis in the head. I mean shoot him in the leg so he's aware of being eaten, that's hardcore.

my first thought is that 'it's too easy' that way....the end wouldn't have been as dramatic.

But then, I have to wonder if Shane wasn't acting out of revenge for Carl's shooting.
