They are certainly doing Alabama and The SEC no favors.

Gary Danielson is already awarding LSU an AP national title if they have to play Alabama. In fact, Danielson made a point to state LSU beat Arkansas worse than Alabama did.

Of course, the margin was the same, but Alabama took care of business and stepped off the gas en route to a 38-14 win. LSU was playing hard and kicking late field goals to equal us.

Then, Tim Brando..... a face of the network who pays big money to be the "official" network of The SEC, is pumping his own agenda and crusading for a Big 12 team to replace an SEC team in the BCSCG.

Now, to make it worse, the two have some 18 hours to regroup and figure out a way to crusade again tomorrow during our game.

CBS is a business and is going to do what it can to increase its bottom line. I bet CBS believes a rematch will not be as big a draw as an LSU-Okie State BCSCG.

why does Tim Brando have an agenda against Bama!

I've always liked Brando up until bama moved back to #2, then his sublimity has reared it's ugly head.He was disappointed when Boisie got beat, then when Okla St got beat he sputtered alot more...then he said if Orgeon beat USC the voters might jump them up above Bama. Then today at half time he looks at Tony Barnhart and says "you know if Okla St beats Okla, the voters may give them a lot of symphony votes because of what happened(to their basketball coaches").This is not ver-batem but the gist of what he said is there.
Tim has an agenda against the BCS and I heard Gary Daneilson say on Paul Finebaum that he is with Tim on that.He also said there shouldn't be a rematch unles they played 3 times.
Tim is trying to get a ground swell of opposition against Bama, in my opinion.

Ehhh... CBS has no stake in the National Championship game since ESPN will be broadcasting it. If anything, I'd bet they are ticked since they couldn't broadcast a potential rematch since the ratings would be better than round 1. A rematch on ESPN will see lower ratings simply because it is on cable and not broadcast television.

This is why I will turn down the tv tomorrow and listen to Eli during th game. I have no interest in hearing the talking heads.

No, but Brando and even Danelsion have an agenda againt a rematch.Brando has been noising this abroad since Bama moved back to #2.

Re: why does Tim Brando have an agenda against Bama!

Same reason he talks smack on his twitter, to get the backlash...and more people listening to his radio show.

Re: why does Tim Brando have an agenda against Bama!

He old enough to remember Coach Bryant's utter dominance over LSU, he was 16-4 against them with a streak of 11 in a row and absolutely owned Baton Rouge. I think that sorta traumatized the older members of the Tiger Nation.

Besides, who the heck wants to play Alabama again with so much on the line?

Proving Brando is a complete tool. You can't want both without being a hypocrite.

Brando wants a playoff. If you have a playoff, you'll have a rematch nearly every year in at least one of the rounds. You can't hate the idea of a rematch and simultaneously want a playoff, it doesn't make sense.
