Marquis has been a great player for our team for years. I truly am sorry that he can not finish the game but I want him to know that he has had a pivotal role on this team and in this game! I want this thread to be a shrine for Marquis and for it to be a place where people show appreciation for his great ability and leadership to this team this year.

Thanks Marquis for all your efforts and know that you have played a critical role in making this team become and being a champion this year!

It nearly broke my heart to see him in tears at the start on the 2nd half because he probably just learned he wouldn't be going back in. Thank you Marquis Maze and I wish you every success in your future endeavors.

Thank you Marquis for all that you did for the Crimson Tide we love you so much! You could see his desire to win when they showed the camera on him, he certainly did his part tonight and through out the season to get this team the national title we love you son!

Marquis Maze is one of those players who has never gotten the credit from the media that he has deserved. He will go down as one of my all-time favorites though to ever wear crimson. He epitomizes everything that one could ever want in a football player. He's a natural leader, a warrior, and one of the most unselfish people imaginable. Thanks to Marquis for all that he's done at our institution.
