I'd like to go up against Ohio St. They are just begging for a beat down.

Bama goes in at half-time leading 21-3 and Meyer has another epic fail during the halftime interview.

Tide vs. Buckeyes for the BCS championship. This would be a dream match-up for me. Just not sure if it would be as much nightmare as dream.

I doubt that we have enough left on defense to get there, but our schedule is pretty accommodating this season (as is yours). Maybe...

I agree, OSU's schedule sets them up for the possibility, and we have a very favorable schedule as well...our two biggest games of the year (TAMU and LSU) come off a bye week....

leaves very good possibility of meeting...

Which I would love, being a Tide fan in Buckeye country...

Florida State. I think they have a better chance of getting there than Ohio State. Plus, I think FSU would actually give Alabama some competition.

I honestly don't care, but I DO think it would be fun to pancake Nebraska to finish off a three-peat when they couldn't do it back in the 1990s. I think it would be amusing to put the entire pressure of the world on them to "prevent" Alabama from settling the question of the best four or five-year run ever.

Other choices in order:

2) Boise State - just because
3) Notre Dame - just because
4) another SEC team (I'd like to get a one-loss team out of the East that didn't win the division, esp if it was Tennessee, which won't happen)
5) Ohio State - just because of Urban; I don't have the animosity towards them some do.

Also they can quit saying it because they handled Arkansas in their last game before the sweater vest's handling of Tattoogate brought him down.
This is the thing with vacated wins: we all know what happened. Vacating the win doesn't change it. Ohio St did beat Arky a couple of years ago - period. And Joe Paterno won all those games, too.

Why do people keep saying Ohio State has never beaten an SEC team?

September 24, 1988

Ohio State 36
LSU 33
tOSU is 4-12-1 All Time against the SEC. They are 4-11-1 if you eliminate the loss to Vanderbilt in 1931, which occurred before the SEC was formed in 1932-33. In addition to the LSU win, they have wins over Vanderbilt in 1933, and over Kentucky in 1935. All 3 of those wins were in Columbus. They are 3-11-1 if you also eliminate the vacated win over Arkansas in the Sugar Bowl.

tOSU is 1-11 All Time in neutral site games against the SEC. Again, they are 0-11 if you eliminate the vacated win over Arkansas.
