Who, in the last 25 years, has changed their uniforms (drastically, that is)? The only one that partially qualifies is Miami in 2001. To be elite, you have to look elite. It's truly that simple

Hmmmmmmmmmm................ orange turf..... orange uniforms...., maybe they plan to have a player lie down near the sideline and blend in with the turf. Then after the play starts he can stand up catch the defense off guard and receive a pass for big yardage down the sideline.
Why else would you want to use such a HIDEOUS color scheme.

sort of like the "crusty bob" on leatherheads or whatever that play was they ran when clooney was totally covered in mud.

Well it's not exactly a stretch since BSU and EWU have done it and the spoof does look realistic. I was beginning to wonder myself until y'all said it was a spoof.

Yeah, it is a stretch since the NCAA has proposed rules to keep other schools from doing what Boise and Eastern Washington did along with the fact it would have been very easy to search out a news article or press release on a field color change.

You can't have a field of unnatural color according to NCAA Rules. BSU and EWU get to keep theirs because they are grandfathered in...
