Question: Jovon Robinson to Alabama?

  • Hi Guest, we are working on updating the site servers and software. We're also 'forcing' everyone to read and agree to our site privacy policy and terms of service. There are no significant changes to either of these but the terms page does clarify a few things that are mostly in the legalese. You can just click the checkbox for both and continue using the site as usual! We'll update you more on the site upgrades VERY soon! THANK YOU AS ALWAYS for supporting the site and being an active participant!

we didnt have four 4- star recruits last year either. the depth this year will be significantly higher than last season at RB.
Last season, Alabama's running back depth looked like this in Week 1:
Eddie Lacy
TJ Yeldon
Jalson Fowler
Dee Hart
Kenyan Drake

Right now, this is the expected running back depth:
TJ Yeldon
Kenyan Drake
Jalson Fowler
Derrick Henry
Altee Tenpenny
Tyren Jones
Alvin Kamara
Dee Hart (only putting him here because he practiced at RB yesterday)

Last year was a great example of Bama's need of quality depth. Most expected Drake to redshirt. Instead, he got playing time because of two injuries in front him. If Bama has the room and Robinson wants to come, let's take him.

Sounds like a good kid that's been through some tragic times in his young life..I hope he makes to Bama & does really good in T-Town..He's got the talent & size to make our RB rotation..You can never have to many good RB's.. Especially in our rushing attack..

I agree, and we all know why he wants to go to BAMA. Because BAMA is the best way to get to the NFL :). Can't fault the young man for having high aspirations.
