Game Thread: Georgia vs. Auburn

That was quite a game. The aubs have to be the luckiest team I've ever seen. One things I noticed, as did the broadcasters, *U used a lot of the exact same plays they used in 2010. Not surprising, as it was also Gus who called the plays back then as well. One thing we can be sure of then is that we are probably looking at a replay of IB-2010. We just have to make sure the results are different.

Ladies and gentlemen...the Iron Bowl is going to be a struggle. The way the Barn has been playing all year it seems like they are destined for something good. I know we are the better team but for those of you who think we are going to waltz in there and blow them out again may be surprised. After something like this today and how we are playing now, you just never know in a rivalry game. If it is not a struggle, I will be surprised and be more than happy to say I was wrong. But the more I watch these jokers the less secure I feel. They pulled one out of the fire tonight. If we do not play our A game, we will be in trouble on the plains.

I agree with many posters. If no UGA coach mentions "knock it down" before that play, they don't deserve to beat a decent Barn team.

i agree. and i've been feeling this way for the past few weeks. i feel llike it may not be as easy as lots of u think. i too hope i'm wrong and we win by 30

I double agree. Auburn will have the bye, the crowd, the refs and miracles on their side. It's just going to take an effort of epic proportion on our side. If our team comes out like tonight I will be beyond crushed and upset. I have to trust that won't happen.

Truth. At some point, the Georgia faithful have to open their eyes and understand that their coaching staff is simply not doing a very good job. You would think that it would sink in after all of the undisciplined showings, but a caller to 92.9 The Game made a really good point the other day about the Georgia fanbase; there are a lot of folks that are happy if Georgia beats Florida, Auburn, and Georgia Tech. That, to them, is the mark of a good season.
