Re: New Discussion Thread on Possible Coaching Changes...

Why is he wearing blue?? Is there a reason he's wearing blue? Why would he wear blue? What does it mean? It's code for something..
Obviously, it means he's about to pull a Curry and take over at UK.

Nor did I...but it's reasonably deduced from them saying they are worried is it not?
You've made your point, many times. I don't believe Earle created this thread for 15 pages of picking nits.

I just don't have that feeling Coach Saban is going to Texas at all..Is he holding out for the most money he can possibly get from Bama, you betcha backside he is, who wouldn't do the same if we were in his shoes..And by holding out for the most money..He's also in a way..Reigniting the expectations that's been lost in all the winning we've had in The Saban Era of football at Bama..That's my honest feelings about what's going on right now..

Fortunately once this Texas job is filled the realistic Saban suitors will be over for his career at least in college. I suppose sexton will start floating his name with NFL jobs every offseason now.

OK, so, those in the know: how many days since last Friday has CNS been out on the recruiting trail?
I know he was out yesterday and today (at least news reports say who he was visiting), don't know about Friday - Monday.

Every single day. I heard on 99.1 earlier that he is going to end up personally doing around 50 (total since the IB) in home visits before the dead period starts. This is his window before the dead period and before bowl practice starts. There is a list of HUGE recruits visiting this weekend including Leonard Fornette. You have to assume that he going to NY with AJ Saturday night.

IOW, he's been working his butt off recruiting, like Bill Battle said today.

When Coach Saban goes to the great coaching gig in the sky, there will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth on the Longhorn boards because one, he won't be coaching at Texas, and two, they will realize that Texas is not in fact Heaven.

Re: New Discussion Thread on Possible Coaching Changes...

This is my personal opinion as well. Sexton is really not looking out for the betterment of the Saban's but for himself and in doing so is starting fire storms that could have been avoided and more than likely accomplish the same goal. I'd like to get a running start and give Ole Jimmy boy a full throttle kick in the junk.
Buzzard, I hardly think CNS is a victim here. Does anyone really think that Jimmy Sexton has gone rogue on the Sabans?
