Auburn vs Ole Miss

Not wanting to shy away from competition BUT if we win out and the barn doesn't get lucky AGAIN we don't have to play in SEC championship to get to final 4. Now we do, worried about more injuries. SEC beats up on each other. Just saying
I might be one of the few people that actually care about winning the SEC.

If we win out we go to Atlanta regardless because we would hold the tie breaker over state
he's one of those that would rather not play for an sec championship and take the chance of getting an at large playoff bid. For me personally, I still want to try and win the sec. There are some of us that were hoping that we didn't make it to Atlanta bc they think that might be the easier road into the playoff. This is foolish in my mind, you never know how strongly the committee will weigh conference champions in the end.

I agree. The only certain way to the playoff is to go to Atlanta and win...

It's not luck. They are on the cusp of where offensive college football is today. God knows, I hate it but it is what it is.

You can't deny they are lucky. Yes they have a good offense...but they have crazy luck on many key plays in their games.

I'm pretty sure there are a lot more than 2 of us. I hope there are.

Even though this game helps us, it was a crappy way to win a game.

OTOH, it was a crappy way that Ol' Sis won their game against us. I guess luck balances out, over the course of a season.

Except in Lee Co. Luck never seems to run out, down in the pasture.

And that is why I'm perplexed by the folks who wanted OM to win tonight. An OM victory means we have to win out AND get help from another team to beat OM. A Barn victory means we control our own destiny, which is the lesser of two evils.

Well, I am glad Ole Miss lost. Now all we have to do is win out and we are in Atlanta. However I hate that it happened because their WR took a terrible leg injury. Was hard to want Auburn to win this one.

Better to be lucky than good sometimes.

Good for you admitting so but not many of your fellow fans are like you.I am 41 and frankly the Auburn fan basemy age and younger has made me and other Bama fans despise the barn especially in the last 10 to 15 year, started by the little run ya'll had from 2002-2007 last year did not help mattersI had people at work bragging to me I hardly know. I do say all this knowing the70's could not not have been a pleasant time for ya'll. So it is what it is.

Watch the committee keep OM ahead of us because "they played a great game and lost because of an injury to their best WR".
