Game Thread: ****Bama vs. MSU Pregame Thread****

Roll Tide! Been up since 6am... excited about the drubbing we are going to put on the dawgs today! Wish I were there!

Roll Tide from chilly Gaithersburg, MD. (on a temporary project up here.) Awake at 5AM...too pumped to sleep. I haven't been this excited in a long time. We've got to put a whippin' on these guys and re-establish Bama football. A good win today will work wonders. ROLL TIDE!!!

So saw a guy at my event wearing a Mississppi State pull over and kindly said, " Well looks like your boys are playing my boys today!" just to start a friendly conversation. He immediately said, "Yep and my boys are gonna kick your boys' ____!" and walked away.

I'm not sure why people act like that ... I HATE it when our side behaves in that manner - even to Awbies.

I'm glad most of you are feeling good about this game because I've just got a bad feeling, same feeling I had before Ole Miss.

Everyone talks about how good we've played at home but, we haven't really played a good team at home yet. A&M and UF are not that good then we had our two cupcake games. Then add in how we seem to always come out flat the week after LSU. Plus, State runs an offense we seem to have trouble defending. We even have a Heisman contending qb coming to town like the A&M upset a few years ago. Hopefully he doesn't have a Heisman winning game today.

I don't mean to be a downer but I just have a bad feeling about this game. Hopefully I'm wrong and most of you are right.

I understand the concerns, but I still have a feeling we will win today. We can't lose to BOTH Mississippi teams in the same year! Roll Tide Roll!

MSU doesn't run an offense we seem to have trouble with. They don't run the HUNH stuff. They line up and try to beat you. They run the spread which we've pretty much figured out. They do have a good leader at QB though. I have to give them that, in Prescott. Still, it isn't an offense that gives Bama trouble. The QB's legs will give us trouble. Also, I had a bad feeling about the Ole Miss game, but we still should have won that. I don't have that feeling with MSU. I think we have new life and the LSU will help us for this game. Reason we came out flat all those years is because MSU wasn't that good. This is not the case. Even with A&M, those guys thought that A&M wasn't that great and that we could just show up and win. I don't think they'll come out flat against the #1 team in the nation. With how we've played at home, and not who we've played, is the reason why I think we will win. No team has manhandled UF and A&M or any team really like we have this season. Bama wins.
