It probably IS a better game.

However....


1) CBS wants the biggest draw, and once beaten Alabama is the biggest draw in the SEC right now

2) it's Alabama-Tennessee, a rich history of tradition that enables Verne to talk about stuff that happened before most of us were born (get ready for Kenny Stabler stories if CBS has the game for obvious reasons)

3) once beaten ATM is not as big a draw

4) it is POSSIBLE Ole Miss might lose to Memphis

Man, I had forgotten about that. I miss hearing him with Eli as well.

LOL! You might want to rethink this one. Ole Miss is pitiful. They put all of their apples in the "Beat Bama" basket. So pitiful they needed a ton of help from Bama and the officiating to barely accomplish that.

6-1 vs 3-3 team or 5-2 vs 5-1 team. I'm fine playing on CBS just surprised they picked the Bama-UT game. The OM-aTm game is a SEC west elimination game. The Bama-UT game is going to be a blowout..

IMO, aTm will beat Ole Miss worse than Bama will beat ut. But I wish they had listened to you. I usually like Danielson, but I heard about all I care to hear from him for a while in the aTm game.

I think it's more about TV ratings. All of the Bama fans that want to see us win, and the others that want to see an upset...like the time CPB was in the hospital out west, and someone sent him a get well card that read "Don't worry Coach, everyone in the Sate of Alabama is praying for you--one way or the other".
