They say that most of the shows will move to the History Channel. They will probably stop running so many reruns but I'm not positive on what they will do.

I checked History's lineup for the next week. Still looks stupid.

I hate network decay and History is the ur-example.

Considering how bad the history channel has become with all the ancient aliens and other crap this could be a good thing. Vice, their show on HBO has been very, very good so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now

I stopped watching these channels when they started showing "documentaries" about mermaids and the megaladon.

I don't think I'll be watching this new channel. If I want to see a gay-cation I'll fly out to San Francisco or drive down to South Beach or the Keys.

Exactly. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall in the editorial meeting when they decided to drop historical stuff on "History" and started showing "Ancient Aliens" and "Ice Road Truckers."
Just to see who made the argument and what the supporting rationale was.

Probably. Plus, "We won't have to pay writers or actors. These guys drive trucks over ice for Pete's sake. They'll do anything for a little extra money. This will be incredibly cheap."

Reading the Bible and watching the History Channel plus H2 is the ONLY way I can maintain my SANITY in this world full of lies and deception by people I have NO respect for. Election Season is when the lies and deception get even greater.

I was just noticing hurricane force winds as the Donald exited his hairplane on Saturday. His hair did not move while the rest of Christie's almost blew off his head. What does Trump have for hair? Is that wire or real hair. My wife said she needed some of his hair spray.

As an aside, I was watching Nat Geo last night and it was a marathon of different American ecosystems, like Yellowstone, the Mississippi, and the Everglades. It was pretty good. I'm a little surprised that they, too, would have gone the reality tv route.
