The Walking Dead

It was a good episode. I knew the girl was going to cause problems with that radio.

They are already getting the taste of what/who is more dangerous in this new world.

I agree J.

The best part was when Nick (Gray's fav. character) directed the outboard propeller into that walker's face....that was awesome!

That kid is a worm, Bazz. Okay, full disclosure, I watched the first 30 minutes and completely lost interest. I am going to try it again today, but don't hold out much hope for this show. The characters seem disinterested with their situations and quite frankly I am underwhelmed with the quality of the cast. The entire episode seemed dis-jointed.

they need to kill off everyone but Strand and Rueban Blades character.

The thing about this show...you have to almost watch it as if TWD didn't exist...KWIM? It definitely doesn't compare to TWD, but it is still a good show. I do hope that Strand stays on for a long time, he seems to be the most interesting.

I hear ya, Gray but that "worm" saved everyone's bacon last night! :)

He and Strand make a good team, IMHO.

Will be interesting to see the significance of the "Sail Log" the worm retrieved from the capsized boat.

I watched the rerun this morning and will admit it did pickup somewhat when they were in the water. I still do not feel this is going to be a "cannot miss" for me. The cast is just no where close to TWD's.

I'm not sure if I'm more mentally prepared for disaster or I'm fooling myself, but I cannot fathom being s cavalier as these guys have been so far. You don't have to face death before realizing the world has changed.

I liked how when they were running/hiding from the pursuing boat, they had every light on the yacht on at night.

Strand must have one of those -- super duper cell phones.....from some random diner in town? Where was he sitting? Too many gaps in the story....

With that said.....I like the idea of the show. I like the psychology. But, the cast is not captivating....but, on the flip side -- the first few seasons of "Walking" had characters that weren't overly engaging either. So, I'm patient....
