Booger just said our guys whipped their guys on the line of scrimmage. He said if you do that Bo Jackson or Herschel Walker wouldn't be able to run either. RTR

Any guy that goes by the name "Booger" professionally is either super cool or super dumb. He has struck me as the former.

This was such a great defensive game. It reminded me of the 1979 game against LSU in Baton Rouge....Bama won 3-0. That game was in the rain. They had geared their whole season to beat us and end a 8 year losing streak. I believe it was Charlie Mac's last season. Also...Bama went on to win the National Championship.

One thing missing even though I'm in celebratory mode now:

Can't get the ball downfield to some of the best receivers in the conference.

I think from a mental perspective this is also the best game our defense has played all year. I don't think anyone made any mental errors. Everyone was always in position.

I wasn't surprised at how well our front 7 played. I wasn't surprised that we struggled offensively. I WAS surprised at how well our secondary played. We gave up the one 41 yarder. Other than that, they played pretty well.

People have to watch that game to really appreciate how dominate it was to win 10-0. Problem is a lot of people won't.

Even the 41 yarder was covered well.

What we are witnessing simply shouldn't exist in this day and age. Our defense is simply not fair.

LSU had a great game plan and forced us into some uncharacteristic mistakes.

We won the fourth quarter and that usually equals a win!

Coaching and grit won it.

Two great football teams and we had one or two more big plays than they did. I truly hope that LSU hires Orgeron. He is the perfect fit for that program, and his players have bought into him, no matter where he's been.
We are very fortunate to win tonight. Adam Griffith may cost us the national title because he's the worst kicker in the SEC.
