LSU obviously watched a lot of film because all of that stuff Kiffin was trying in the first half was covered. It wasn't until we committed more to the run that we took control of the game. Krymsonman

Any win over LSU is a good win. D looked really good. Didn't miss a beat.

LSU fans raving over the "missed hold" on the TD run. You know the one Gary pointed out that didn't exist? I delight in their misery and excuses.

Tonight Alabama faced the LSU team that many picked to win the national championship. So much talent.

Congratulations! Now, time to hush those puppies.
 
I guess some people just can't get sarcasm unless there is a blue font. When I wrote that I thought LSU was going to win because they wanted it more than Bama, I was referring to what some of the ESPN pundits had said earlier today. Personally, I am not all surprised that LSU didn't score. I thought we would win by 14 or more.

I wouldn't say we were fortunate to win. He missed one field goal.

Yep, and we seemed slow to adjust. Stuff off the edge was not there. Finally figured out 3 yards and a cloud of dust, straight ahead at 'em was what was going to work. It finally did!

I thought the pass Hurts threw to Stewart to open up the 3rd was the best pass he has thrown all year. He will get better and better as the year goes on.
