Clinton lost in states she always expected to win: Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. These states had voted for Democratic presidential candidates for decades, but in 2016 went for Trump, along with Ohio.

Jobs and complete morons who believed a proven liar who convinced them that jobs that have since been replaced by robots, will come back and be given to humans

Never said that I believed him.....................

But, it is a valid problem. Not too long ago, our manufacturing base was 25% of our economy. Now, it is less than half that.

So, what do we do with the folks who are not cut out for college? And there are a lot of folks who are not. I have no idea. It would be nice if we provided more vocational training, in HS. But, no..............the education mafia wants everyone prepped for college. (Where they can brainwash them! Hitler would be proud.)

Seriously, it is a big problem, with no immediate solution. Ripe for exploitation, by crooked poly ticks.

Democrats themselves must be sexist and even women too who didn't go significantly Hillary's way as many expected (Trump got 42% of the women vote).

The great buffalo cenk uygar and his cronies at the YT are pushing for Elizabeth warren. The problem is that she will face the same problem that Bernie did... That our democrats are right centered liberals and not left center. They are not going to change from the Clinton style democrats to a further left unless they all get voted out. I really think they will put a more moderate candidate up, and hope Trump is running. Yes you read right, I'm still in the boat that even though he won that there is a good chance he isn't the nominee in 2020. Either by him getting bored or him getting beat in the primaries it is still realistically possible that he doesn't run in 2020. That could be disastrous for the democrats.

I honestly don't think he makes it to 2020

and I'll surprise most by saying I hope I am wrong

But I will call back my prediction from really, really early in the Can Trump win thread and say I firmly believe he will be impeached. Perhaps even lead by the same Ultra Conservative Christians that put him there

There is a point in our history when jobs were sent away by the government. How could it be impossible for the government to change that? I have worked in Engineering and Accountant my entire adult life in manufacturing. I know some jobs have been replaced by robots but not all. It has been proven that in an industrial environment robots don't kill jobs. Those that are free people up to run other jobs. There is always more things to invent and build if there exists a level playing field to do it. If the government insists that either we have regulations that should require proof the importers are adhering to the same. If they aren't don't allow them to import.

I feel the same. If a "living wage", workplace safety, and environmental regulations are really a concern for Americans, we need to hold foreign importers to the same standard or at least some form of sliding scale (thinking of wage here).

Otherwise we are deliberately fighting with two hands behind our back.
