Looks like the Rebel Alliance is firing on their own. Wonder who they took out with that laser shot.

A barner friend of mine tried to spin this as "not a lot of people were there to do this". This certainly looks like more than a few to me. To her credit she did say it was embarrassing to her and was classless.

As long as they still have that high school coaching staff in place that may be the only thing they roll the trees for.

They have actually gotten where they roll those things for somehing as important as Pat Dye breaking wind

Not trying to take up for the Aubs, but has anyone confirmed that this actually happened? I ask because most of the people in that picture are in SHORTS and it was in the 30's Monday night. Auburn fans aren't the sharpest tools in the shed, but I have to wonder if this picture is actually legit. One of the trees can't even be rolled because it was set on fire.

I know we have people in this group who live in Auburn. Confirm or deny?

It happened. It is just the wrong photo.

It happened.

He won't do it because he doesn't have it in him, but Greg Sankey should write a nice letter to Jay Jacobs saying the action of their fans by doing it is pathetic and just cost Auburn their share of Alabama's bowl revenue from the conference.

I didn't cheer for or against Auburn in 2010 and 2013. I wouldn't ask Auburn fans to cheer for us because of conference pride, but they sure don't have to celebrate the loss while receiving a nice payday because of our success.

They rolled the trees when we lost to Vandy in 1984; have not pulled for them since.

Re: Plain Trouble on "Da Plains" (all AU posts here)

Apparently Auburn fans rolled Toomers Corner last night.

Apparently us going 14-1 and losing the national championship on the last play of the game is a "win" for them.

to me this proves something I have thought for a very long time, that Barners hate Bama way more than they love their beloved Barn

Re: Plain Trouble on "Da Plains" (all AU posts here)

I bet they thought this would bother us. From the comments here I think most were like me and just laughed at them.

Screw the barn and their fans. They are a second rate cow college, always have been always will be. They have yet to figure out toilet paper is to wipe a butt with, not to throw on a clothes line on the main drag of hillbillyville.

Bless their little hearts. They most certainly met my expectations as a fan base. Rolling the trees is a stupid tradition in the first place but when you cut right to either, rolling the trees could either be a prank, or in a certain cases a misdemeanor. So either Auburn fans are pranking themselves, or committing a crime--albeit a misdemeanor at best. Either way, they are not the brightest crayons in the box.

I have a LOL day so far. I don't know what has been funnier to read about: Auburn rolling their trees after Bama losing, or NSBB trying to spin that Hilary Clinton is "not as bad" as Donald Trump? (insert Jennifer Lawrence "Okay" gif) Either way, I have been enjoying a good laugh today.

I checked the online cam of Toomer's Corner Tuesday morning after I heard about it.

Indeed, the trees had been rolled...:cool2:

Actual photo.

Every Auburn fan I know, including my daughter, thought this was the most classless thing they have seen. I agree. But we are talking about Barners here.

Re: Plain Trouble on "Da Plains" (all AU posts here)

Opposing fans who go out of their way to do stuff like this do it because they know their team won't be getting there anytime soon. Ole Miss fans are coming out in droves where I am, not the LSU fans. I haven't really had any LSU fans say one thing to me this week and I live in Louisiana. It's the Ole Miss folks.
