The Chip Kelly bidding war begins tonight. Where will he end up? A&M? Florida? Tennessee?

My gut hunch right now? ATM if he wants it.

I doubt McElwain gets the axe. Butch will, but you'd pick the wide open spaces of Texas over KnoxVegas, too.

The interesting name would be Dan Mullen for ATM.

I think Kelly goes to ATM and the Vols focus on Petrino.

Florida fans are impatient, but I think you are right. I think they do make him fire Nuss.
Mullen would be a good hire. He could get them over the hump.
I think you are right. If Kelly wants a return to college the job is his. Unless someone with deeper pockets fires their coach (Notre Dame?). As I said it will most likely be a bidding war for his services.

I was telling my Eugene, Oregon buddy (he's a Huskies fan) about three hours ago that we should be (all things being normal) 5-0 before we went to face ATM on the road and they'd likely be tough.

I called him back about 15 minutes ago and said, "Remember what I said about ATM? Nevah mind."

He was watching a movie - nearly fainted when I told him UCLA came back from 34 down.

Then he said, "How did that happen?"

I said, "First of all, they got 34 points ahead...."

Me too. Last night one of the announcers claimed that playing A&M at College Station would be a big test for us, then Herbie said no, the final game at Auburn would be a test. It's looking like Herbie was right.
