Re: Justin Thomas wins FedEx Cup

He burned the edge on a difficult downhill, left-breaking putt on 18 that would have ultimately tied the winner and resulted in a playoff. Schauffele was lights-out, however, and deserved the win. Golf is pretty fun to watch right now.

He put the screws to that petulant little horn, Jordan Spieth today

Spieth is an incredible golfer. One of the best of all time.
Total congratulations to Justin on a wonderful year. I pulled for him the entire year. What a wonderful honor to win the FedEx trophy.
But don't call Jordan "that petulant little horn" in front of Justin. He'd probably knock your head off with a pitching wedge because he and Jordan are best friends.
They actually have class.

Why do we feel that we have to put down everyone from other schools. Jordan Spieth happens to be one of the classiest gentlemen you would ever want to meet -- and an all world golfer. He, JT, and several others have revamped the professional golf world -- for the good.

Amen. I don't understand it either Padre

O.K.; it's not football, but he did help our kicker. So there's that.
Justin Thomas comes in 2nd at Tour Championship; wins FedEx cup in one of the best seasons EVER.
Shoots 59
Shoots lowest round to par ever in Major
Wins 4 regular events
Wins PGA
Player of the Year/FedEx Cup winner of $10 MILLION
Awesome

Justin Thomas Wins PGA's FedEx Cup

It is incredibly awesome. I still can't believe that he didn't birdie 18 today and force a playoff for the tour championship. Oh well, he still pocketed $10,944,000 today. That is a pretty good finish for a great season.

Congrats to Justin for an incredible year capped off with winning the FedX Cup. This almost guarantees the Player of the Year award as well. He won 5 times this year including a major in the PGA Championship. Looking forward to watching all this new talent fight it out in the coming years on tour.

You must not know what that word means...

Justin Thomas, Jordan Speith, Jason Day and Rickie Fowler are a breath of fresh air on the PGA tour. While I don't know any of them beyond what I see on TV, I have no reason to believe that any of them are not class acts.

They are young, awesome talents, and honor the game's tradition of sportsmanship and integrity. They are not tin horns or showboats, and they own their exceedingly few bad rounds without throwing their caddies under the bus.

We are finally witnessing what the tour should be after the domination of Tiger Woods. I was a bit young to fully appreciate it, but I'm sure some of our more senior members would recall the overlap of Nicklaus, Palmer, Player, and for a brief time, Tom Watson and Johnny Miller.

These will be our children's good old days.

Never seen better golf than I'm watching now, and these youngsters are incredible.
They do everything they can to win, but, if they don't, they pull for each other. It has absolutely nothing to do with where they went to college.
Golf is an individual sport played by individuals against the same golf course..
The players all go up against the same obstacles and respect the heck out of each other and the efforts they give.

Congrats to Justin (and his caddie) on all their wins this year and the Fed Ex cup. By the way, if he had birdied 18 (which he did for three rounds), he might have won the tournament also. An incredible year.

If you need to know the meaning of the word, just watch Spieth when he is playing through a bad stretch. Sorry Spieth fan-mans, I just do not care for the guy. I also do not fully buy the on-camera personae. JMO
