Did he go to Florida with Mullen?
Yep.
Kind of sad, though, that the big play to analyze is vs Mississippi State. Yes, there have been other big plays, but vs teams in playoff contention, those with good defenses, there are probably as many bad we could analyze, as good.
This isn't the only one he's doing. He indicated he's doing it all year long. This was just the first play he did. As a Mississippi sports show host and former MSU QB, I'm sure plenty of listeners and/or friends still want to know how State blew that game.

Oh, ok. I was hoping we weren't willing to measure our success against Mississippi State.

Didn't he also do a breakdown of the final pass to Smith? Or is that some other analyst I'm thinking of...

It's a no brainer. Jalen needs to learn a new position or transfer. No more of that 3 and out silliness that cost us a national championship because our offense could not help our great defense.

Ivan Maisel and Trevor Matich give their take in today's column.

This quote pretty much sums it up...
"And the thing about that for defenses, you go back to the Georgia game in the national championship. In the first half, I was on the sideline watching that whole thing, and Georgia stacked the line, which is what everybody does against Alabama, right? And whenever that ball would leave Jalen Hurts' hand to go down the field, nobody on that Georgia sideline was too worried about it because they knew it probably wouldn't be a consistent threat to be a big play. When halftime came and Tua came in, everything changed. In the second half, when the ball left Tua's hand, everybody on that Georgia sideline held their breath because they knew there was a great likelihood that it would drop in for a big play.

Agreed.
Sports are competitions. If your opponent has a weakness, you exploit it. Ruthlessly. Until they give up.
If we were to canvas SEC defensive coordinators and ask them which Bama QB they'd rather face, who do you think they'd pick?

Because it is a Monday in June and there is no football in sight, for all my Crimson brethren and sistren.
Take a moment and smile a bit.
