Game Thread: OFFICIAL POSTGAME THREAD - Bama vs. Louisville...

He snapped at her over a question hes been asked a billion times. He didnt call her names or insult her intelligence. He said why he didnt like the question, made it clear he wasn't going to say anything negative about either of his players and told her/the media to stop pursuing that angle. It's just the tone folks dont like. He could've said it nicer... but he kinda did in the presser this last week. They have every right to ask him these questions but he can respond how he likes and if he feels like the answers to the questions are going to drive division into the team then hes not going to kowtow to that. Hes been patient enough and was just blunt and sharp. I'm fine with it.

The problem is a blind man can see he is better than Jalen. Coach Saban is not throwing our opponents off. He is not playing some great mind game.
After today, none of our opponents are preparing for Jalen.

Didn’t say turnovers.

the first (?) TD was a wounded duck that would have been intercepted by a better Defense

the fumble that wasn’t a fumble whe he leaped and landed on his arm and popped out was nearly punched out before that.

i think he’s clearly the guy, just saying Coach knows there will be a time when Jalen is needed to give Tua time to “reflect”.

The optics aren’t great but she and ABC / ESPN got exactly what they wanted. That’s the sad part. Maybe he should just say we are starting whoever lines up under center and you’ll know when everybody else knows.

Tua is the man but lack of ball control—at times, could cause him to not start.

I can't even.

Negative, not even close.

My guess is after tonights game Jalen will be quickly phased out of meaningful snaps/series. Its just too obvious he's not even close to competing for the starting job. He brings nothing to the offense when he comes in. Its a waste of plays and series. I'd rather see Mac Jones in there.

I'm grateful for the win BUT....

...I can't get my mind around the fact that Saban won't name a starting QB and had only had feeble praise for the way Tua played at his post game presser. I just don't get it. I understand that it's too early after the game to make such a statement, but this QB competition is over, everyone knows it, and it's looking more and more unbelievable that Saban still doesn't know it but won't admit it for some unknown reason.

Congrats on the big win, guys and gals!

I was switching back and forth from our game and thought you did great considering you were competing against a Petrino offense.

Great start to the season!

:)

Saban addressed this in his post game presser. Said Tua is too loose within the ball and in our conference will cost us a turnover or two.
