This offense is frighteningly good. Without the Hurts experiment in the first half, we're up 42-0 at the half, and maybe even more. Tua's ability to see the field is NFL quality.
And he's a true sophomore.
This year could be special.

Guys, it’s actually frightening how good we are going to be with Tua. Our defense might give up slightly more points than the last two years, but is it really going to matter?
Tua is basically Johnny Football, just without the narcissism, drinking, and drugs.

I think hes told reporters the same thing politely over and over and over since the spring. But they just aren't satisfied with the answer so they keep asking it a different way in the hopes of getting Saban to commit. Hes just tired of being nice about it in EVERY interview he conducts every week. Its goonnan a be what its gonna be.
There are better ways to convey that

Really good win. The QB situation is settled and it’s obvious. Hope Mack is ok. Coach is salty which I like!

He could put an end to all of it if he would remove the Rugby package from the Offense.
Or if Tua would’ve just been named the starter sooner, I mean of course Saban is staying loyal to Jalen but what Tua did tonight was just confirmed what we’ve been hearing in practice. If he was named the starter earlier, the question may have not come up.

Why should he,, it's pretty clear who the qb will be,. Now who is going to be the back up is a legit question.
He shouldn't, but that won't stop reporters. These sideline interviews should have been stopped years ago.

It just invites answers like we saw tonight while emotions are still running high.

Cant say I blame Saban for getting rough with the reporters..............how many times and how many different ways can you ask the same dumb question?
Well, to be fair, after tonight, anyone who had heard there was a QB battle going could very legitimately be asking "what exactly was the battle about?"

Anyway, a lot to like from tonight and several things to cause concern (especially a few things that teams like Ole Miss love to exploit).

Our secondary needs some work. They made some big plays but had lapses that gave away good field position to a team that couldn’t get it out of 1st gear. Tua could have run 80 on this team if he wanted to, and I love Jalen but he pressed and it failed him on some third downs. We could have played better but we are going to kill some folks.
