Perfect. A win is a win, but when it comes to this game, anything less than a total and complete stomping leaves me unsatisfied. I don’t think I feel that way for any other game, even the Barn; I’m satisfied beating them by one point.

The elation followed by helpless deflation they suffered after having their hearts torn out and trampled in 2009 is an indelible memory for both fan bases. To me, that's at least as good as a start-to-finish butt whooping they'd file away with all the other butt whoopings administered over the years. Still, if I am choosing now, I'd prefer the annual butt whooping over the drama for this week's game.

I read the brief practice report summary on al.com. It said Tua looked fine and that Ruggs and Juedy were doing drills (they sat out yesterday). Devonte was not doing much. I sure hope his hamstring is ready for LSU. He should not even try to play v TN. We really need him.

I hope for an injury free week/game/bye week and good weather for the game Saturday! Roll Tide!

20% chance of rain that should be gone by game time.............I saw where the players were catching and throwing wet footballs and dipping their hands in water before routes...............I think they will be fine

Jeremy Pruitt presser yesterday in Knoxville. He shows a tremendous amount of pride in his years with Coach Saban. Growing up in Rainsville, Al he understands the rivalry extremely well. He did say, to paraphrase him, that Alabama's offense has had to work hard to avoid scoring 100 while most teams strive to be able to score 50. I would say that Tennessee has really fallen into it by hiring a coach who well understands what a championship program looks like.
