Maybe it was in the 70's. I know Paul Bryant was coaching us at the time and Ara Parsegian (spelling) was the ND coach.
They beat us in both of those games. But, times are different now. For one thing, the wishbone is gone.

One can not argue hard stats, but we found out yesterday what happens—no matter how good you are on either side of the ball—when you commit unforced errors and don’t execute. I’m telling you right now if we go into Miami Gardens and play the way we did yesterday, especially on O, we will lose this game.

I agree. Hopefully, the time off will allow us to rest and re-focus - on top of putting in a great game plan. It's high time we came out played UP to our standard, regardless of the other team. We do that, with an emphasis on running the ball, we can make Oklahoma look bad. Processed, even.
