Yep - My wife and I are in a bridge group, and our boys (18 and 21) are also in a bridge group. Bridge groups tends to really fight the stereotypes of both generations which they bridge as they move through life.
So, how are Wally and the Beav? ;)

Or, maybe, how are Fred and Ethel?

Whatever works best

I'm guessing you aren't playing cards.....or are you?

Dang, you're that much younger than I am?

Now I feel old.
We were born in the mid-60's, putting us in the bridge group between the Boomers and Gen X.

i was always told that us gen x'ers were ruining our lives playing atari and listening to devil music and that we needed to get out from in front of the tv and get a paper route so we could learn the value of a hard day's work ;)

Oh, good, you're OLDER than I am.

*whew*

If you wish to hold form, you should be whining about us GenXers, apparently...

My parents threw me out of the house in the morning to play outside with friends. We had a Atari, but had very few opportunities to play it. I spent almost all of my time outside.

Same here. I spent most of my time outside. They usually had to force me to come back inside. I had Atari and then Nintendo, but I was usually limited to only playing that on rainy days.

Sounds like Ohio State may be the landing spot for Fields. I think that is actually good move. he would be better off sitting out a year and re-develop under Day... and He will improve a lot. He will do well at OSU.

Me too. I am a young boomer and I was playing front yard football in the fall, outdoor basketball in a driveway in the winter and wiffle ball in the street during the spring/summer. It was glorious. That does not count the organized sports for all three.

All of you Gen Xers, X Millenials, Millenials, and whatever are nothing but a bunch of whiners. Y'all had it so bad, well my generation had to face the wrath of parents over the evils of rock and roll. Think about that for a minute.

No, but supposedly the incomprehensible lyrics to "Louie, Louie" were going to corrupt us.

(I thought it was because we watched Bugs Bunny and the Roadrunner.)

(And it is probably a good thing they didn't know how crazy Little Richard really was.) (And why was the same song ok, when Pat Boone did his lame version of it?) (Still trying to figure out why they were the "good ol' days". No one had A/C.)

Back to the topic- SIAP but several sports reporters on the Twittersphere are saying Fields and more importantly his family are really interested in an Ohio St transfer.

B1G- have you guys heard this?

Re: Justin Fields (potentially) Leaving Georgia - also Luke Ford

I'd almost bet on Fields ending up in Big Ten country. Penn State is where some in his family wanted him to go last year. Ohio State has come on as a big player because I think it is a lock that Haskins goes pro after the Rose Bowl. OSU and PSU will both have open QB competitions next year and that is what he wants.

In my opinion, he should go to PSU because OSU has two pretty decent backups while I'm pretty sure he'd walk onto the PSU campus as their best option.

We are hearing that he spoke to Day and a spot is here for him if he wants it, but he will have to compete for the starting job.

I knew all the trees in the woods like the back of my hand from spending so much time outside...... but when it got dark and I heard my mom calling I was back at home quick
