Why would that be so bad? At least we're SEC!
Because Kirby “ self haircut” Smart is the most ungrateful piece of crap that’s ever been born. The classless way he acted when he left here is exactly who he is. Hope LSU rolls you.

It’s been mentioned before, by JessN, how his refusal to acknowledge the emotional side of the game hinders him against Auburn, who embraces it. It’s at the core of his philosophy: don’t get too excited, don’t get too down. Even keel. But against Auburn, and Gus, who embrace chaos and emotion, it falls flat.

We had the emotional high ground going into this game. We squandered it.
We get so many undisciplined penalties without emotion, just imagine if we get too amped up to play.

I don’t know how you do it. As far as I’m concerned college football is done for the year. It starts back up at A Day. There’s a long shot chance I’ll watch the bowl if Bama isn’t playing Oklahoma.

I’ll enjoy it. No pressure. This game was miserable from beginning to end. I won’t have that watching LSU destroy Georgia.

Adopt Ohio State as a second team. We are still working to wash the stink of Meyer off, but at least we are trying.

Saban is now 8-5 against Auburn, Coach Bryant was 19-6. Despite being more successful nationally than CPB, Saban hasn't been able to keep a lid on the Cow College.

I will get torched for saying this but this is why I do not believe Coach Saban is a better coach than Coach Bryant. Coach Bryant realized the importance of the rivalry. Coach Saban is great but IMO not the greatest at Bama.

Why do we always play dumb and scared when we play down there?

Bama is 3-3 in the last 6 games there. Did not seem to play scared at all - but the D played very poorly. The coaching overall was poor.

Don't know where to go from here. The Clemson game should have been a wakeup call of wakeup calls. The team looked sick and aimless from the mid 2nd qtr on. This team had the greatest offensive personnel in Bama and maybe SEC history, even the defense has several NFL players. I know many will say CNS needs to go back to the drawing board but he's been there the past 2 years, not sure that he knows where to turn. The overall edge is gone and the defensive coaching poor. There's still hope for a good future and certainly CNS deserves every benefit of the doubt, great patience, as well as many, many thanks, even if things don't turn around. The hounds and pit bulls will be unmerciful - outside and inside.

Remember how well the ILBs did again the triple option? We had hope they’d be solid. Not the case.

That was one of the reasons I felt so confident going into the game. Sadly it did not translate when the opposing team actually had an o-line that could block.

We had no SEC Championship
to prepare for so why not play it up? In 2013 it knocked us out of a title shot...last game of the season, Saban needs to make a change for this game.

I sat there at the end of the game and told my brother-in-law as Auburn was about to punt "It would just sum up the season if we jump offside here or have too many men on the field..." DOH! Although I didn't say DOH!

I will be pulling for the buckeyes. I doubt I will watch any of it since football season is over for me. You are good people B1G. You had the smarts to marry a Bama girl, so you can't be all bad.
