Just a reminder that we're going to reboot the server and move the load balancer first thing Thursday morning (as soon as the tech team gets going) so there may be a few minutes of nothingness as it powers back up.
 
Thanks, Brett the site really is impressive, just hope I have the mental capacity to figure all of this out. I know we all appreciate Tidefans and what you have done for all of us.

The links to the forums at the top of the Home page are broken. I have been trying to get in and only just realized that the board has been up, but the links are broken.

Also, all of my saved favorite links are broken. Seems the old links to forum pages are now useless, and that means that even Google searches won't work.

On some thread when I click the name of thread it takes me to the first unread message automatically. Other similar websites work this way without an added button. Not sure how Brett intends for this feature to eventually look and feel.

Yeah, it makes the site much easier to use. I marked the entire site as read - all forums. Now when I click on a thread it will take me to the first post unread by me in that thread.

P.S. You can test this by reading the first page of a thread then going back to the main page where that thread resides then click on the thread title again and you should end up at the top of the second page. Or just wait for someone to make a new post once you've finished reading a thread.

Thanks! I’m sure you have it on your list, but I miss the unread feature that once you’ve checked out a post it’s gone from the list of unread posts.

When I go to "New Posts", all read posts are not listed. The only posts listed are those which I have not yet read.

once we do the reboot and move on the balancer this may work. Only vb links should redirect correctly at that point. Not sure about favs but if it’s something like TideFans.com/forums/threadid=123432 then it will redirect correctly

im hoping it will work similar to previously once I get there :) Just so y’all know, I have a punch list with about 180 things I’m looking at.

I may have missed it, but is the app on the iPhone supposed to be working yet? I tried it and also googled the site and it says Not Found, so right now I can only read tide fans on my computer. Thanks!

I had to create a new link for my phone as the old ones are not working right now, but Brett said that they should be working again soon.
